Brereton, Staffordshire

Brereton, Staffordshire once had its own separate identity but now is incorporated into the town of Rugeley, being part of the Cannock Chase area. Once mining was a big part of this area not only from the Leahall Mine but also several smaller ones in the area. Recently it saw a landmark change has the Towers Business Park with its iconic Towers Point building bringing a renewed sense of prosperity to the area.There are several churches within the district, the most notable is the Church Of England Church Of St. Michael's.There is also a Methodist church by the same name.
