The Observer but garnered a 4/10 from music magazineNME .There was a period in July 2007 when the album was being sold on Australia's iTunes for only $2.99. This mistake has since been fixed.

The album got to #1 on the
UK Amazon andiTunes charts.It charted in the
UK Albums Chart onJune 11 ,2006 at #2 below theSandi Thom album, "Smile... It Confuses People ".In its second week, it charted at #3 following "Smile... It Confuses People" at #2, and the second Keane album, "Under the Iron Sea ".It also managed to peak at #16 on the Australian Albums Chart, while reaching #18 on the Australian
iTunes chart. It has since been certified Gold for sales in excess of 35,000.In its first week on sale in the UK it sold 43,304 copies and in its second week it sold 39,000 copies.
