"Robot Dreams" is a science fiction short story by Isaac Asimov, written for the 1986 story collection "Robot Dreams".

"Robot Dreams" involves Dr. Susan Calvin, chief robopsychologist at US Robots. At the start of the story a new employee at US Robots informs Dr. Calvin that one of the company's robots, whose brain was designed with a unique fractal design, had a dream. In the dream the robot saw itself as human, surrounded by robots who worked hard and unwillingly as slaves and in the dream he shouted out, "Let my people go!!" Upon hearing the story Dr. Calvin immediately destroyed the robot since its "dreams" indicated to her that the Three laws might not provide as much protection as was once thought.
