Radikal is a daily Turkish language newspaper, published in Istanbul. It has been published since 1996 by Aydın Doğan's Doğan Media Group (Doğan Medya Grubu).

Unlike many daily newspapers in Turkey, Radikal does not seem to support a certain political party because the owner, Aydın Doğan, wants to keep his relations well with anyone who is in power. However, it is generally considered as a left-wing (democratic socialist) newspaper, indeed it is a very liberal democrat newspaper. Ironically, compared to Cumhuriyet, Radikal is considered by manywho? to be much more spineless, open-minded. Fact|date=February 2007. It is praised for its culture, arts, and interview sections, as well as columnists such as M. Serdar Kuzuloglu, Hakki Devrim, Yildirim Turker, Turker Alkan, Altan Oymen, Nuray Mert, Murat Belge and Gunduz Aktan. Mine G. Kirikkanat used to write for Radikal before she got fired after harshly criticizing the Turkish nation. [ [http://www.radikal.com.tr/haber.php?haberno=159792 Radikal-çevrimiçi / Politika / Halkımız eğleniyor ] ] Hasan Celal Guzel, former minister of education, Murat Yetkin, and Mustafa Akyol, son of Taha Akyol, also write for Radikal.

In 2007, Orhan Pamuk and Sezen Aksu became Radikal's temporary editors-in-chief on January 9th and 14th, respectively.

Despite having a circulation of around 50,000, [ [http://www.medyatava.com/tiraj.asp MEDYATAVA - Çift Sarılı Yumurta Tadında ] ] it has a lot of public influence, guiding the main agenda of Turkey.
