Tibet .Influence
After a big success of the debut album "Maya" and a European tour with
Transglobal Underground Toby Marks travelled the world collecting inspirations. He joined The Tibet Support Group, a part ofInternational Tibet Independence Movement . As a response to the Chinese government's decision to build a railway track toLhasa , the heart and traditional capital of Chinese occupiedTibet , in1995 Marks recorded a 12-minute long track with looped chants fromTibet . It soon appeared to be a start for the whole project, eventually creating a new album. As Marks said, "the compositions were made as a result of political and human sensitivity"."Amber" contains a sampled line: "My god, it's full of stars..." from the
Stanley Kubrick movie "".Track listing
