genus ofsauropod dinosaur from theJurassic -Cretaceous boundary in the southeast ofSpain . Thetype species of theturiasauria n "Losillasaurus giganteus" was discovered in theLos Serranos basin in Valencia and formally described by Casanovas, Santafé and Sanz in 2001. The material is from a subadult and includes part of askull ; complete cervical, dorsal, sacral, and caudalvertebra e as well as several fragments; skeletal elements from thelimb s including ahumerus ,ulna , radius, andmetacarpal ; sternal plates; and from thepelvis : the ilium,ischium , and pubis.
