Susan Goforth is an American actress and producer. Credits to her name include stage roles in "
Guys and Dolls ", "Me and My Girl ", "Singin' in the Rain", "A Chorus Line ", "Follies ", to name a few. In 1999, her and her colleagueTimothy Hines formedPendragon Pictures based inSeattle, Washington .Less than 2 years later, the two planned to make a version of "The War of the Worlds" with a budget of $42 million dollars, anchored through venture capital. The two were in good shape on the film until the events of September 11th caused the film to shut down production. In the meantime, the two filmed "Chrome" on a budget of $100,000, which Goforth also starred in as the supporting actress. Later in 2005, the two released "H.G. Wells' The War of the Worlds" which she also starred in and produced on a low budget. The movie "H.G. Wells' The War of the Worlds" has now been re-edited and retooled into "The Classic War of the Worlds", which the director has stated is the definitive version. Goforth continues to produce for Pendragon Pictures and their proposed film "Chrome" is in post-production.
