Reich Publishing and Marketing
- Reich Publishing and Marketing
Reich Publishing and Marketing (RPM) is a sports marketing business in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They are the exclusive representation of Pittsburgh Penguins Hall of Famer Mario Lemieux.
Founding
The company was formed after Mario Lemieux purchased the Pittsburgh Penguins. The NHL did not want one agent to represent both an owner and players. The company was forced to part with clients such as Tom Barrasso, Ron Francis, Luc Robitaille, and Chris Chelios.
Private autograph sessions
Reich Publishing and Marketing now arranges private autograph signings with Pittsburgh-based athletes. Their list of past autograph signings includes Pittsburgh Penguins Mario Lemieux, Ryan Malone, Martin Straka, Johan Hedberg, Scotty Bowman, Ron Francis and Mark Recchi.
During the NHL lockout season, the company was forced to diversify into football. They now have business relationships with Pittsburgh Steelers Willie Parker, Verron Haynes, James Harrison, Bryant McFadden and Larry Foote.
Distribution
Their memorabilia is usually very difficult to find for collectors, as most of it is sold to large corporations.
