West Auckland . Her father, aCook Island er, was one of her strongest musical influences. She is not only fluent in English but in bothCook Island andNew Zealand Māori.She has worked with
Netherworld Dancing Toys , When The Cat's Away, Herbs and The Katene Sisters. She joinedSplit Enz and theNew Zealand Symphony Orchestra for ENZSO. She has supported John Farnham and Jimmy Barnes.On stage, she was the soloist in "Rent" in Australia and played Killer Queen in "We Will Rock You" in Melbourne. She is currently involved in the Autraliasian Tour of "We Will Rock You", reprising her role as Killer Queen. The tour has since visited Auckland, Korea, Singapore and Hong Kong and will be going to Bangkok on July 12, 2008. The tour is said to end on July 27, 2008.
