Bob Smizik

Bob Smizik

Bob Smizik is a sportswriter and columnist for the "Pittsburgh Post Gazette".Originally a writer and columnist for the Pittsburgh Press, Bob Smizik is the dean of Pittsburgh sportswriters. His columns in the Post-Gazette cover many topics, but he's known for covering the media scene, and seems to have a first love with the Pirates, whom he bashes on a regular basis. Bob is not known to have played baseball, or have talent in any other team sport. He's a native of Pittsburgh and graduated from both high school and college there. Surprisingly, Bob is a huge Penn State fan and dearly hopes each year they become football national champions. As for his own alma mater, he could care less. Bob Smizik is also jealous of Central Catholic because he couldn't get in.
