Girl Scouts of Taiwan

The Girl Scouts of Taiwan (Traditional Chinese: 中華民國台灣女童軍; Tongyong Pinyin: Jhōnghuámínguó Táiwān Nyǔtóngjyūn; Hanyu Pinyin: Zhōnghuámínguó Táiwān Nǚtóngjūn) is the national Guiding organization of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Girl Scouting was introduced to China in 1919; the association became a member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in 1963. The girls-only organization has 28,105 members (as of 2003).

Program and ideals

The Girl Scout emblem features the Blue Sky with a White Sun.
