Al Kresta

Al Kresta is a Catholic broadcaster, journalist, author, and missionary. Kresta, who detailed his personal conversion to Christ and return to the Catholic Church in the best-selling book "Surprised by Truth" (edited by Patrick Madrid), founded Ave Maria Communications in 1997 and hosts a talk show called "Kresta in the Afternoon", which runs for two hours a day, from Monday to Friday. Kresta is also the author of "Why Do Catholics Genuflect? And Answers to Other Puzzling Questions About the Catholic Faith", and it's sequel "Why Do Catholics Care So Much About Sin?", and is a contributor to both "Shaken by Scandals: Catholics Speak Out About Priests' Sexual Abuse" and "Loving Your Neighbor". Mr. Kresta and his wife Sally have been married for over 30 years.
