September 15 1978 inRotterdam ) is a professional Dutch footballer. He currently plays forAZ as a defender. Jaliens can operate at either right back or centre back. His role depends on who else is selected, if van Gaal prefers Steinsson then Jaliens plays centre back and if Donk plays, Jaliens switches to the right.
