Conrad Hilberry

Conrad Hilberry (born 1928) is an American poet.

Hilberry went to Oberlin College for his undergraduate Bachelor of Arts, and continued his studies with a Master of Arts and a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He was a professor of English at Kalamazoo College from 1962 to 1998.

Hilberry is the author of nine books of poetry. Hilberry is also the author of Luke Karamazov (1987), a nonfiction first person narrative of two sociopaths.

Hilberry was editor of the literary magazine Passages North and co-editor (with Michael Delp and Herbert Scott) of the anthology Contemporary Michigan Poetry: Poems from the Third Coast (1988).
