Khagendra Thapa Magar (born 1992), son of father Rup Bahadur and mother Dhana Maya, is reported to be the shortest man in the world, measuring 60 cm (24 inches) at age 16. Magar came from the
Baglung District ofNepal and is dubbed as a "little Buddha" by the villagers. Just 600 g (1lb 5 oz) at birth, Khagendra now is only about 5.5 kg (12 lb).
