Robert Cameron is a famed photographer and author of numerous books featuring aerial photographs of numerous cities throughout the globe. His book style consists of an aerial photograph with text and history of the site and occasionally on the opposing page a historical photo of the same site with text. The books are always all photographic and are primarily of large conurbations. His career began as photographic journalist for the Des Moines Register in 1933, during the second world war he worked as a photographer for the United States Department of War. At 92 he is also the founder of the publishing company Cameron and Company. His books include
