Jennerstown Speedway is a racetrack in Jennerstown, Pennsylvania, United States.

Track layout

The track is a 0.522 mile asphalt oval. The straightaways are banked 6°, and turns are banked 9°.

cheduled events

The track features weekly Saturday night races from May to September. The track also features annual national races from the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and the USAR Hooters Pro Cup. The track held an annual American Speed Association event until the series dissolved.

Track history

The track began as Jenners Fairgrounds in the late 1920s as a flat half mile dirt track. A dirt quarter mile track was built in the infield in 1953, and the half mile was abandoned. The half mile was restored and briefly used in the mid-1960s. The half mile track was again rebuilt in 1967, and the half mile was used. The track was paved in 1987. The oval was repaved with a $350,000 polymer-based racing surface [http://www.jennerstown.com/history.html] in 2004.
