:"For the 19th century baseball player, see John Bass".----John Bass (July 18, 19xx) is an artist from Howell, New Jersey with roots in the early-- [Asbury Park, New Jersey] local art and music scene. Bass is known for his vivid land and seascapes, and at one point was considered "the world's fastest painter" for his paintings he did for tourists on the Asbury Park Boardwalk, New Jersey. He had a local community TV show demonstrating his painting techniques and studio space in his home and at the Collingswood Auction.John was always generous with his talents, gifting his art to friends and donating his work to worthy causes. There is a tribute to his work at a new gallery on the Asbury boardwalk.-- () 14:01, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
