Grand Master Yaron Alexander Lichtenstein is the highest ranked Krav-Maga master living today 2006 and he is the only one of all of Imi Lichtenfeld's students which received this ranked personally from the Krav-Maga creator and founder. Yaron Lichtenstein was born in 1953 in the city of Rehovot, Israel, and started his Krav-Maga studies at the age of 13. he fought in the war of Yom-Kipur, were he was bedly wounded and captured by the Egyptian army. He was released after three month . in the year of 1977 Yaron founded the first school of krav-maga in the world - BUKAN. In 1988 and 1994 Yaron and Imi published the first two complete books of Krav-Maga.After Imi's death in 1998, Grand Master Yaron Lichtenstein remained the only man who still follows the complete way of the Israeli Krav-Maga, as created by the founder.Fact|we should consider it carefully before making such statement| () 21:15, 14 August 2008 (UTC)|date=August 2008
