Tyler James Williams (born October 9, 1992) is an African-American actor. He is most recognizable for his current role as Chris Rock in the TV series "Everybody Hates Chris". He was born in Westchester County, New York. Williams previously starred in "Little Bill" as the voice of Bobby, briefly replacing Devon Malik Beckford in 2000, and played himself (or an eponymous character "Tyler") on the children's show "Sesame Street" from 2002 - 2005. He has also guest-starred in "Two for the Money", "", and the show "Hijinks " along with his co-star Tichina Arnold. He also stars in "Unaccompanied Minors", that came out in theaters on December 8, 2006.He recently made the "Young Hollywood's Top-Earning Stars Under 21" list at #9 making 1.2 million.

In 2007, Williams won the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series. Receiving the prize at age 14, he is the youngest person ever to receive this award.
