Nuoro ,Sardinia , founded in 1930. The club was known as A.S. Nuorese Calcio until 2006.The club played Serie D - Girone B in 2005-06, finishing first, thus gaining promotion to play in Serie C2 the following season. Playing in Serie C2/A in 2006-07, Nuorese finished 4th and qualified for the promotional playoffs. It lost in the semifinal round to the third-placed team, Pergocrema, 3-1 on aggregate.
It again played in Serie C2/A for the 2007-08 season, where it finished 8th, but due to its failure to present proper documentation to its association, it was dropped from the professional leagues for the 2008-09 season. It may begin play in the non-professional leagues in 2008-09.
The colours of the team are blue and green.
