Carlos Pérez Rial, (born 12 April 1979 in Cangas do Morrazo, Pontevedra) is a Galician flatwater canoer and former world champion.

Pérez has been an international since 1999. He made his Olympic debut in Athens in 2004. His times earlier in the season suggested he was a genuine medal contender but he was surprisingly eliminated in the K-1 500m semi-final.

In 2006 he narrowly failed to retain his world and European titles, both times finishing in the silver medal position behind Germany's Ronald Rauhe.
