"Strange Affair" is the sixteenth album by legendary rock band Wishbone Ash. It is the first album in the band's 21-year history without drummer Steve Upton, who quit the band during the album's recording sessions. He was replaced by Robbie France and later by Ray Weston, who would stay with the band until 1994 before rejoining for a much longer period in 1997.

"Strange Affair" is also the final studio album to feature founding member Martin Turner.
