Jasenovac i Gradiška Stara (Jasenovac and Stara Gradiška) is a Croatian song promoting the Ustaše, a Nazi puppet organization. The lyrics, written in 1942 [ [http://www.balkanpeace.org/index.php?index=article&articleid=14396 The Centre for Peace in the Balkans: Nazis Rock on in Croatia] ] , celebrate the World War II crimes against the Serbs. The lyrics include words in the typical dialect of Herzegovina, where some of the worst atrocities against Serbs during WWII happened. In 2003, a 2001 a supposed recording of the band Thompson performing a modified version of the song was made public by journalist Matija Babić, controversy regarding this issue has been brought up by Serbs and the Simon Wiesenthal Center located in Sarajevo. Also it was heavily debated in Croatia itself.
