is a JR East railway station located in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan.

* Senzan LineDue to the unique layout of the station, it is the only station within the Miyagi region to employ metal spikes to prevent trespassing.

urrounding area

The surrounding area is mainly residential and filled with cheap, affordable student housing where students commute to the nearby Tohoku University Kawauchi Campus; however, there are many hills making winter life slightly dangerous.
