"Balls" is the eighteenth album by Sparks released in 2000.

"It's a Knockoff" was recorded for the movie "Knock Off", starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, directed by the acclaimed Hong Kong based producer/director Tsui Harkcite news|title=Lively Sparks|publisher=New York Press|author=J.R. Taylor|url=http://www.nypress.com/16/30/music/music1.cfm |accessdate=2006-04-13] (who had appeared on his own tribute song by the band on the album "Gratuitous Sax and Senseless Violins"). It is featured over the closing credits.

"The Calm Before The Storm", "More Than A Sex Machine" and "The Angels" were each released as singles to support the album.
