extinct genus of thecrocodilian subfamilyMekosuchinae . It is hypothesised to have beenarboreal , and may have dropped down onto prey. "Trilophosuchus" was approximately 1.5m (5 ft) in length. It had a short skull with three ridges on top and large eyes. Fossils have been found atRiversleigh in north-westernQueensland .Only a single species has been described, the
