Dihab Shill

Dihab Shill is a Somalia-based hawala company.^[1] The Nairobi office is owned by Ismail Jama Ali.^[1]

According to U.S. prosecutors, Dihab Shill was used by al Qaeda to fund the perpetrators of the 1998 United States embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania.^[2]

In English, Dihab Shill translates to "gold melt".^[1]

Mistaken reports

Numerous articles mistakenly refer to Dihab Shill as a Pakistani hawaladar.
