Dihab Shill is a Somalia-based hawala company.[1] The Nairobi office is owned by Ismail Jama Ali.[1]
According to U.S. prosecutors, Dihab Shill was used by al Qaeda to fund the perpetrators of the 1998 United States embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania.[2]
In English, Dihab Shill translates to "gold melt".[1]
Mistaken reports
Numerous articles mistakenly refer to Dihab Shill as a Pakistani hawaladar.
