Jeanne Kohl-Welles

Washington State Senator Jeanne Kohl-Welles has been an educator, a community leader, and legislator for many years.

She represents the 36th Legislative District which includes Ballard, Blue Ridge, Crown Hill, Greenwood, Magnolia, Queen Anne neighboorhoods of Seattle as well as the north half of Downtown Seattle The district also take the western half of Lake Union. Jeanne Kohl-Welles was elected to the State Senate in 1994.

From 1990-1994 she was in the state house.
