Lin Tsung-yi

Lin Tsung-yi (Chinese: 林宗義, pinyin: "Lin Zōngyì"; born 1920 in Tainan, Taiwan) is an academic and educator in psychiatry. He is Honorary President of the World Federation for Mental Health. [ [http://www.wfmh.org/newsletter/nl014/regionnews014.html] en icon] He was a director of the psychiatric department and an adviser of psychiatric studies at the World Health Organization. [ [http://www.tafaward.com/Award%20Recipients/1987/tsung-yi_lin.htm] en icon] He has held professorship in psychiatry at the National Taiwan University, University of Michigan, University of British Columbia, as well as honorary professorship at Peking Medical School and University of Tokyo. [http://www.ncatw.org.tw/pca/bodhi1_1.asp] zh icon] His father, Lin Mosei, was an educator and a victim of the 228 Incident in Taiwan.
