mp|2006 HZ|51 is an 800 m diameter asteroid discovered on 27 April 2006 by the Catalina Sky Survey that was thought to have a chance of hitting Earth on 21 June 2008. Further refinement of its orbit eliminated this risk. It was at first thought to have a period of 7 years and a perihelion at 1.1 AU in July 2006. [MPEC 2006-H58, 2006 April 28, 2-day orbit] .
