Sunset Ridge School District 29 is an elementary school district with schools located in Northfield, Illinois.This school feeds into the prestigious New Trier High School in Northfield and Winnetka, Illinois that has been portrayed in movies such as "Uncle Buck", "Mean Girls" and other films.Sunset Ridge is a small school with an average graduating class of 60-70 students. Sunset Ridge was the top middle school in Illinois in ISAT testing in 2005, and is always one of the top two public schools in the State of Illinois.The school mascot is the Eagle. All sports are no cut. The fall sports are Co-ed Soccer, Field Hockey, Girls Volleyball. The winter sports are Boys Basketball, and Girls Basketball. The spring sport is Track and Field.There is always a no cut musical in the spring.
