Raymond Fred Gunkel (
February 16 ,1924 -August 1 ,1972 ), known professionally as Ray Gunkel, was an Americanprofessional wrestler and promoter in the state of Georgia. He is best known for having died of a heart attack after a match inSavannah, Georgia versusOx Baker .Though it was reported that Gunkel died from Baker's finishing move, the Heart Punch, this was not the case.
