The Snake
The snake is a small woodland are in Wrockwardine wood. It was found by Cory Lee Binnersley (1993-present day). It consists of one main lake and many small swamps along with a large field and many pathways connecting Wrockwardine Wood to Donnington. The founder Cory Binnersley spent a lot of time thinking up the name and eventually came to the decision of calling it 'The Snake' because of its winding paths which he thought reminded him of a snake. The people of wrockwardine wood and Donnington all thought this a great name. The Borough of Telford has many benches in the woodland area where the legs are in the shape of a snake’s head in acknowledgment to Thomas Anthony and his findings. The area is used by many people now especially those travelling to and from schools and the supermarket in Donnington
