Derbyshire . It is situated on the former route of the old A61 (now B6179), just north of theDerby section of the A38. At the southern exit to the village from the A38, there is aLittle Chef . The village is in theErewash district council.There are three pubs in the village:
#the "New Inn" on the corner ofDuffield Road and New Inn Lane,
