Amsoldingen is a municipality in the district of Thun in the canton of Berne in Switzerland. The village is located approximately 5 kilometers from the city of Thun. The community is known for the Amsoldingen Church (in German: "Kirche Amsoldingen"), the largest Ottonian basilica in the country. Together with the refectory, sexton's house and castle, it is a heritage site of national significance. [Swiss inventory of cultural property of national and regional significance (1995), p. 102.]

Two lakes, Amsoldingersee and Uebeschisee, are located adjacent to the municipality.
