- Hanwulosaurus
"Hanwulosaurus" is the informal name given to an as-yet undescribed
genus ofdinosaur from theLate Cretaceous . It was anankylosaur around 9 meters (29.3 feet) long, which is long for an ankylosaur. Itsfossil s were found inInner Mongolia , China. Much of a skeleton, including a complete skull,vertebra e, ribs, ascapula , anulna , femorae, bones from theshin , and armor, was discovered; this may be the most complete ankylosaurian skeleton yet found inAsia , according to early reports. Zhao Xijin, who has studied it, suggests that it may belong to its own subgroup within the Ankylosauria. The name first surfaced in news reports in2001 .References
