Pinara (Coele-Syria)

Pinara (Greek: polytonic|τὰ Πίναρα; "Eth.": polytonic|Πιναρεύς) was an ancient city in Coele-Syria, mentioned by Pliny the Elder ("H.N.", v. 19). Its present location has not been determined precisely, but it is likely to be in modern-day Syria.
