Autoignition =Polythiazyl (polymeric sulfur nitride), (SN)"x", was the first conducting inorganic polymerFact|date=September 2008. In addition to being an
electrical conductor , it was also found to be asuperconductor at very low temperatures (below 0.26 K) [ cite journal | title = Polysulfur nitride - a metallic, superconducting polymer | author = M. Polythiazyl is synthesized from
tetrasulfur tetranitride (S4N4) viadisulfur dinitride (S2N2), in the following way::S4N4 + 8Ag → Ag2S + 2N2
:S4N4 (w/ Ag2S catalyst) → 2S2N2 (w/ 77K cold finger) → S2N2
:S2N2 (@ 0°C, sublimes to surface) → thermal polymerization → (SN)x
