Minot State University-Bottineau

Minot State University-Bottineau Campus, or (MSU-Bottineau), is a public institution of higher education in Bottineau, North Dakota. It was founded in 1906 as the North Dakota State School of Forestry. In 1968 the school then was affiliated with North Dakota State University and changed it's name to North Dakota State University-Bottineau Branch. The school's affiliation with NDSU lasted until 1996 when the school obtained its current affiliation with Minot State University, becoming Minot State University-Bottineau Campus.

Today MSU-B offers coursework leading to associate's degrees in Business, Computer Technology/Information Technology, Natural Resources, Medical/Allied Health, and Education. It offers Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degrees in these fields, which are highly vocationally-oriented degrees designed to enable the recipient to find employment after receiving the AAS degree. Additionally, MSU-B offers 2-year Associate of Arts (AA) and Associate of Science (AS) degrees in the aforementioned fields, with a large general education requirement for degree completion; these AA and AS degrees are transferable to bachelor's degree programs at a 4-year college or university. Diploma, certificate, and certificate of completion programs are also offered, which require fewer credits completed than that required for an associate's degree.

MSU-B's varsity athletic teams compete as the Lumberjacks (men's teams) and Ladyjacks (women's teams). MSU-B is part of the Mon-Dak Athletic Conference.
