=Baltimore Canton/S.C./Americans=The Baltimore Canton was an American
soccer club based inBaltimore, Maryland that was a member of theAmerican Soccer League .Before the 1936/37 season, the club became known as Baltimore S.C.. After the 1941/42 season, the first Baltimore Americans folded (see below) so Baltimore S.C. took the name, Baltimore Americans, for themselves.

soccer club based inBaltimore, Maryland that was a member of theAmerican Soccer League .After their first season, the club was renamed the ASL's first Baltimore Americans. After the original Americans folded following the 1941/42 season, Baltimore S.C., Baltimore's other ASL club, took the Americans nickname for themselves (see above).
