Ladinian (MiddleTriassic ). "Lagerpeton" is known from several specimens ofhindlimbs , hips,vertebrae , and feet. It was about 0.7 metres (2 ft) long and was found in the Chañares Formation ofArgentina . It has unique feet, with an unusually long fourth toe. Thetype species , "Lagerpeton chanarensis", was described by Romer in 1971.External references
