Universal logarithmic wall law

Universal logarithmic wall law

In fluid dynamics, the universal logarithmic wall law states that the average velocity of a turbulent fluid at a point is proportional to the logarithm of the distance from the point to the "wall" or boundary containing the fluid.

In 1996 Cipra submitted experimental evidence that the law was incorrect. This evidence itself has not been fully accepted by other experts.
