Celtic Crusaders in National League One. He also plays for Wales.His primary position is as a prop and he can also operate as a second-row forward.
James is a former
Sheffield Eagles player who moved toCastleford Tigers where he was offered a full-time contract. He won the Supporters Club Player of the Year in 2004 while at Sheffield Eagles. James is also a Welsh international who played alongside Ian Watson in the Euro-Nations Cup. He then went on to play for theSwinton Lions in Rugby League National League 2 before, in 2006, he was bought by Wigan Warriors for an undisclosed fee.Wigan Warriors coach
Ian Millward bought Jordan James to try and help Wigan after several key players became injured during the 2006 Super League season. James had also had offers fromWhitehaven but turned them down to join Wigan. Since joining Wigan James has played 4 games scoring 2 tries; one against St Helens and the other against Harlequins. Jordan James along with Oliver Wilkes were loaned out by Wigan to allow Wigan to sign prop forwardStuart Fielden , James is now on loan at National League 1 teamWidnes Vikings and will be until the end of the 2006 season. In July 2006 Wigan Warriors decided to release James from his contract at the club allowing him to sign for Widnes Vikings.He was signed by Wigan during a run of injuries at the Super League club.
