Alexandra Govere (Lady Alexandra Muis d'Entremont-Govere, Dame of the Order Angelique d'Enfant [ [http://www.angelfoundation.org/custom2.html The Angel Foundation] ] , born 1990) is founder and Chairperson of the Kijana Project (formerly Assisting AIDS Orphans) [ [http://www.unicef.org/voy/takeaction/takeaction_3799.html Unicef Article on Alexandra Govere] ] .

Govere is of Zimbabwean (Shona), French (Acadian), and American Indian (Mi'kmaq) descent, and spent much of her childhood in southern Africa. At the age of 12, she became the first and youngest female of color to compete on the Zimbabwean National Artistic Gymnastics Team. She is also an accomplished ballerina, having performed with companies in Oregon, California, and North Carolina. She completed high school at the age of 14 and is now attending Stanford University.
