RABS

Remote Area Broadcasting Services (RABS) is a program to provide Australians in remote areas with TV and radio services. These are broadcast on the Optus Aurora satellite platform, which many people receive directly. Others receive these services via terrestrial repeaters.

The TV services offered include ABC TV, SBS TV, two commercial television services in each remote zone, and two community style services. There are also radio services.

"Restricted Access Barrier System" (RABS) is an installation which is used in many industries, such as pharmaceutical, medical, chemical, electrical engineering etc., even there where clean air is needed.
