Muruvika or Muruvik is a village in the municipality of Malvik in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. The village is located near the end of the Stjørdalsfjorden, an arm of the Trondheimsfjord. The village sits about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) north of Hommelvik and just west of the county border with Nord-Trøndelag.

The European route E6 used to pass through the village, but the highway now goes through the Hell Tunnel just south of Muruvika. The Meråker Line railway also passes through the village.[3]

The 0.41-square-kilometre (100-acre) village of Muruvika has a population (2009) of 406. The population density of the village is 990 inhabitants per square kilometre (2,600 /sq mi).[1]
