The El Camino Real Derby is an American Thoroughbred horse race held in early March at Bay Meadows Racetrack in San Mateo, California. The race is open to three-year-olds willing to race one and one-sixteenth miles (8½ furlongs) on the dirt. A Grade III event, it offers a purse of $200,000.

Northern California's premier Kentucky Derby prep, the El Camino Real Derby was first run in 1982. It was hosted by Golden Gate Fields racetrack from 2001 through 2004 and is expected to return there in 2009.
