Raymond Fault

The Raymond Fault is a fault in Southern California. It branches from the San Andreas Fault In the San Gabriel Mountains where it forms the fork of the San Gabriel River. It forms the wall of Monrovia canyon. The fault is very straight and follows an WbS path. It goes straight through Arcadia and the Santa Anita Racetrack and then forms the hills of San Marino and Raymond Hill, after which the fault is named. The fault forms the hills of Highland Park, Los Feliz, the Hollywood Hills, and the Santa Monica Mountains. The fault continues underwater to form the California Channel Islands, some point after which it terminates.
