"Then I Kissed Her" is a song originally written by Phil Spector, Ellie Greenwich and Jeff Barry as "Then He Kissed Me" This was a major hit for the Crystals. The song was re-worded to the title "Then I Kissed Her" when it was covered by the American pop band The Beach Boys. It was released on their 1965 album "Summer Days (and Summer Nights!!)" with Al Jardine on lead vocals and with production by Brian Wilson. The song was also released as a single in April 1967 in the United Kingdom, where it charted at number four. The B-side of the single was "Mountain of Love", a song off the band's 1965 "Beach Boys' Party!" album.

The original song was used in the films "Goodfellas" and "Adventures in Babysitting".

The 10cc song The Dean and I features a section parodying Then I Kissed Her most notable in the line "And then I kissed her - it's a wonderful world when you're rolling in kisses"
